USA: Chicken meat exports to grow by 2.5% in 2022

According to the latest forecasts by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the mark of 13 million tons will be exceeded this year.

Demand for poultry, especially chicken MEAT, will increase this year. According to the latest forecasts by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), global chicken exports are expected to increase by 2.5% next year, exceeding 13 million tons. For 2021, the estimate assumes a global volume of 12.9 million tons.

USDA notes that moderate growth in demand in most major markets will allow large exporters to increase supplies. Brazil will account for more than a third of the projected increase. Growing demand from the European Union, the UK, East Asia and the Middle East should boost Brazilian exports. In addition, exports from North America are already projected to decline by 1%. Experts predict that demand from Japan and CHINA should also boost Thailand's exports.
