Grant funds allowed a farmer from the Khiloksky district to increase his livestock number 15 times

“The HEAD of a peasant farm from the village of Bada, Zorikto Tsybdenov, won a competitive selection for grants to support a beginning farmer in 2019. Currently, he has fully implemented the funds received in the amount of 3 million for the livestock development project. The grant allowed him to purchase 15 heads of cattle , a Belarus tractor and six units of other agricultural equipment. Today, the Khilok farmer’s livestock exceeds 220 heads of cattle , so he was able to increase the number by 15 times,” the minister said.

it should be noted that over the past period, Zorikto Tsybdenov also created three new jobs on his farm.

Russian President Vladimir Putin notes that of the total amount of assistance allocated by the state to support the agricultural industry, 40% goes to support farming. The head of the country assured that small livestock enterprises are provided with comprehensive support under a number of programs, and this work will continue.
