In Karachay-Cherkessia (KCR), a Regional Center for Information Support in Livestock Breeding has been created, which will allow farmers of the republic to receive certificates about the breeding status of farms within the region.

Previously, farmers from the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, in order to obtain breeding certificates, had to go to St. Petersburg to obtain forms, and then to Stavropol to enter data. Now the Information Support Center will perform this function for them.

The center purchases forms for breeding certificates, enters the necessary data for each animal and maintains an automated record of breeding animals in the SELEX information and analytical system. Services cover all types of farm animals, including fish, bees, horses, small and cattle , as well as yaks and deer.

In addition, the center sends selected samples or materials of farm animals for genetic examination to Belgorod State National Research University.

The creation of the center greatly simplifies the process of obtaining tribal status for farmers, since it eliminates the need to travel outside the republic. This allows them to save time and money, and also increases efficiency in the field of livestock breeding.

Today in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic 15 farms have breeding status, of which 8 are horse breeding farms. The creation of a Regional Information Support Center should contribute to the further development of breeding in the republic.
