Smolensk region ranks first in Russia in rabbit meat production

The main enterprise in the region is "Krol i K", which operates as a full-cycle enterprise, including feed production, raising animals before slaughter, processing and packaging. At the moment, the facility contains about 400 thousand rabbits, of which 34.5 thousand are breeding stock. Investments in the project exceeded 1 billion rubles. The enterprise also produces rabbit stew, which is regularly sent as part of humanitarian aid for the needs of a special military operation.
