"Simonovskaya poultry farm" after the commissioning of the new workshop will produce more than 150 million eggs per year

The poultry farm has begun construction of a new workshop for 140 thousand poultry places, its commissioning is scheduled for January 2024, Marina Lobazova, head of the agriculture and food department of the Kalininsky district administration, told the agency.

The volume of investments in the project will amount to 80 million rubles.

"The opening of a new workshop and new jobs is a great contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the district. This will not only help to consolidate existing specialists in the production, but also to attract young highly qualified personnel to the agro-industrial complex," said Roman Kovalsky, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government - Minister of Agriculture .

The main activity of JSC "Simonovskaya Poultry Farm" is poultry farming. Simonovskaya is part of Saratov Ptitsa LLC, which unites five poultry farms and produces 60% of chicken eggs in the region.

As of August 1, the poultry farm has 389 thousand heads of laying hens. For 7 months of 2023, 57 million eggs were produced here. In 2022, the poultry farm produced 116 million eggs.
