North Ossetia increased meat production by 1% in the first nine months of 2025.

Private household plots played a key role, accounting for 74.6% of the total, or 27,960 tons. Agricultural enterprises in the republic produced 2,033 tons of meat, while farms and individual entrepreneurs contributed 7,516 tons. Minister of Agriculture Alan Kusrayev noted that government support and the implementation of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security" contributed to increased production and improved the quality of products available to the population. Furthermore, milk production during the same period amounted to 197,470 tons, which is in line with the previous year.
