Senator from Mari El Sergey Martynov visited the Akashevo agricultural holding

Senator of the Russian Federation, representative of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mari El S.A. Martynov, during a working visit to the region, visited Poultry Farm Akashevskaya LLC. This is the largest enterprise in the republic in the field of production and processing of products from chicken meat.

Sergei Alexandrovich was accompanied by a member of the Committee of the State Assembly for the development of the agro-industrial complex, ecology and nature management V.T. Kozhanov, head of the administration of the Soviet district A.G. Glazyrin, its executive director D.G. Guzev.

The volume of production is large. Poultry farm "Akashevskaya" reached the milestone of 148 million eggs per year, the number of chickens grown per year also exceeded one hundred million. The holding managed to achieve such growth due to significant investments in production and new technologies. 

Here they strive to automate the process as much as possible in order to eliminate any errors. The poultry farm decided to open three hatcheries at once. It was this step that ensured the stable and uninterrupted operation of the agricultural holding.

According to the Akashevo brand, Russians in 42 regions of the country know about Mari El, where they have already appreciated the taste of Mari products.

The senator suggested betting on domestic technologies and equipment in order to protect himself from sanctions threats in the future. The company is following this path. Judging by the pace of development of its own capacities, by 2024 there will be no imported hatching eggs in Akashevo.

S.A. Martynov also urged the company's managers not to slow down the pace of technological development, recalling that the Akashevo agricultural holding, together with its colleagues in the workshop, performs an important strategic task - it ensures the food security of the state.
