Sakhalin poultry farm "Ostrovnaya" plans to double egg sales by the New Year 2025

Currently, the process of settling the new building is underway, where more than 80 thousand laying hens will move, having undergone the necessary vaccinations and found to be in excellent condition. This will guarantee high quality of the products. It is expected that a month after the start of rearing, from mid-December, the Ostrovnoy retail chain will begin to receive eggs in double volume.

This measure is due to the growing demand for egg products both in the Sakhalin Region and beyond. The poultry farm is actively improving its technologies and conditions for keeping poultry, which contributes to increased productivity.

At the moment, retail prices for products are as follows:

• Category 1 eggs – 130 rubles per dozen;
• Category 2 eggs – 120 rubles per dozen;
• Category 3 eggs – 100 rubles per dozen.

Competitive prices make products more affordable, and increased production volumes can help lower prices in the future. This will also have a positive effect on the local market, providing the population with quality products and creating new jobs, which will contribute to the economic development of the region.
