JSC "Northern Key" sued the Samara region, represented by the regional department of veterinary medicine, almost 186.5 million rubles. This is the value of farm animals seized earlier from the company. The decision was made by the Arbitration Court of the Samara Region. The information is contained in the file of arbitration cases.

We are talking about the many thousands of pigs that were seized from the company in 2020 due to the outbreak of ASF in the region. At first, Severny Klyuch JSC tried to recover payments from the insurance company, but the court ruled that the veterinary department was the defendant in the case.

JSC "Northern Key" is located in the village of Savruha, Pokhvistnevsky district, Samara region. The company is engaged in the cultivation of cereals (except rice), legumes and oilseeds.

Previously, ASF quarantine was introduced in the hunting grounds of the Samara region. However, it was later cancelled.
