With Nizhny Novgorod investors, a poultry farm in Chuvashia will increase the number of Lindovsky breed of geese

The meeting with the HEAD of the group of companies Frigal LLC and Himtrade LLC Natalya Karpycheva, the new owner of the Kanashsky PPZ, took place with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.

The prospects for the development of the plant were discussed at the meeting. Investors plan to increase the number of laying hens from 140 to 400-500 thousand heads, focusing on egg production. it is also planned to breed geese of the Lindov breed. Currently, the factory maintains a flock of 6.5 thousand geese of this breed.

To implement plans to modernize poultry houses and purchase equipment, the factory will receive 90 thousand heads of laying chickens at the end of October, and the first eggs from them can be expected in 4 months. 

At the moment, recruitment is already underway, the average salary at the start is 30 thousand rubles, but it is expected to increase further. Employees who previously worked at the plant for many years are returning to their jobs.

Sergei Artamonov explained what support is provided to agricultural producers in Chuvashia. They can receive a refund of 30-50% of the cost of purchasing new machinery and equipment. Livestock, potato and vegetable growers are compensated for 45% of costs, and plant growers – 35%. In total, in 2023, state support for the agro-industrial complex of Chuvashia includes 78 areas.

Natalya Karpycheva also announced her personal plans and intention to move to Chuvashia from the Nizhny Novgorod region. She noted the comfortable conditions for working and living in the region, as well as convenient social infrastructure.
