Since the beginning of the year, Primorsky Krai has received 653 batches of meat from ten countries

The main exporter of MEAT in Primorye is Brazil . Since the beginning of the year, 341 batches of meat from Brazil have been imported to the region with a total weight of 8.6 thousand tons.

In 2023, meat imports from India increased by more than 13 times. In total, since the beginning of the year, 154 batches of meat (buffalo meat) with a total weight of 1.1 thousand tons have been received from India (for the corresponding period of 2022 - seven batches with a total weight of 84 tons).

Also, since the beginning of the year, 45 batches of meat and offal with a total weight of 687.9 tons have been imported to Primorye from Colombia, and 58 batches weighing 668 tons from Argentina.

In addition, since the beginning of the year, meat products from CHINA , Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Japan and Australia have been imported to the territory of the Russian Federation through Primorye veterinary posts.

Traditionally, poultry meat is imported to Primorye most of all , in total, 295 batches with a total weight of 7.7 thousand tons have been received since the beginning of the year.

In addition, beef (2.7 thousand tons), buffalo meat (1.1 thousand tons), pork (677.2 tons) and mutton (46.3 tons) are imported.

Officials of the Department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR checked the compliance of all import lots with the requirements of the Russian Federation.
