In August of this year, chilled and frozen chicken MEAT rose to a record level - an average of 167.74 rubles per kilogram.

In July-August, the consumer price of chicken in RUSSIA increased by 0.6%, since the beginning of 2021 - by 14.1%, year-on-year - by 18.8%. Compared to the minimum level over the past three years, recorded in the EMISS in February 2020, the average price of a kilogram of chicken meat increased by 29.71 rubles.

The country's highest retail prices for a broiler carcass in August 2021 in the Far Eastern Federal District averaged 228.99 rubles per kilogram, and the lowest in the Volga Federal District - 153.95 rubles per kilogram. The spread exceeds 75 rubles.
