Since the beginning of 2024, the import into the Kaliningrad region of about 3,000 tons of meat and meat products from 4 countries has been controlled

Most of all poultry meat (more than 1,947 tons) and beef (883.3 tons) were imported into Russia. Product exporters were Brazil , Paraguay, Turkey , and China . After border veterinary control was carried out by inspectors of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Kaliningrad Region, the products were allowed for import.
