The Rusagro Group has encountered interruptions in the supply of some imported raw materials and components and is looking for new suppliers. This was announced at a teleconference by its financial DIRECTOR Boris Chernicher.

“From the point of view of cost, from the point of view of the availability of raw materials, of course, we have questions that are now arising. Some suppliers partially refuse to provide us with the necessary raw materials, this applies partially to spare parts, partially to seeds, partially to other components, for example, veterinary drugs,” - he said.

"But right now, as soon as this situation began, we even took care of this issue a little in advance and are working on a program to search for alternatives. We are confident that we will find alternatives to all those components whose supplies from our old suppliers will be blocked for us," he said. top manager.

At the same time, there are no significant problems with the EXPORT of Rusagro products now.

“In principle, right now, at the moment, we do not see any significant problems associated with the continuation of this activity aimed at the export of sunflower oil or the export of our other products. We continue to look for export opportunities and find them,” CFO said. Rusagro.

The main division of the group, aimed at export, is the oil and fat business, the main export product is vegetable oil in bulk, he recalled.

Rusagro is a major producer of SUGAR, pork, sunflower oil, mayonnaise and margarine. The main owner of the company is the Vadim Moshkovich family, which owns 57% of the company.

Rusagro's net profit for 2021 under IFRS grew by 71%
