Rostov Region Increases Financing for Agro-Industry by 20% in 2025

The main goal of the agro-industrial complex of the Don region is to provide the domestic market with food products, including socially important goods, as well as to increase the production volumes of EXPORT goods. This year, almost 20% more funds have been allocated for the implementation of state programs in the agricultural sector than last year - 10.6 billion rubles. Yuri Slyusar emphasized that the stable operation of the agro-industrial complex is of key importance for the food security of both the region and the country as a whole. In 2025, it is planned to increase state support from the previously allocated almost 8 billion to 10.6 billion rubles.

These funds will be used to develop regions and support key industries. More than half of the total amount will be directed to the dynamic development of agricultural sectors, and the remaining funds - to the comprehensive development of rural areas. It is expected that the growth of agricultural production by the end of the year will be almost 110%. About 6 billion rubles are planned to be allocated to support the purchase of equipment, machinery and measures to improve soil fertility, while 4.8 billion rubles are planned for the development of rural areas, which is twice as much as in 2024. In 17 districts of the Rostov Region, construction and major repairs of 15 water supply facilities will begin, five of which will cost more than 1 billion rubles each. Nine engineering infrastructure projects are also being prepared, which include road construction, landscaping and major repairs of educational institutions.
