The regional Minister of Agriculture , Konstantin Rachalovsky, noted that thanks to the work of rural workers, the Rostov Region occupies a leading position in the country in the production of grain, sunflower, MEAT, eggs, MILK and vegetables. This year, farmers have harvested more than 11.4 million tons of crops , which strengthens the region's food security and supports its EXPORT potential.

The region has seen an increase in livestock production, with meat and egg production up 4.5%. The event's participants were also awarded for achievements in various sectors, and winners of the grain production competition were determined among the region's districts.

In addition, farmers have completed sowing winter crops on areas of more than 2.8 million hectares, which creates the basis for future harvests. Currently, 36 investment projects are being implemented in the region's agro-industrial complex, which will lead to the creation of new jobs in rural areas.

The new national project for ensuring food security, established by the presidential decree and presented at the festival, promises further development of the agro-industrial complex of the Rostov region.
