Priority areas for investment, according to the HEAD of the region, are the development of dairy farming, the reconstruction and modernization of production facilities, the renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet, reclamation measures, the implementation of investment projects for the deep processing of grain crops, in the food and processing industries.
Viktor Goncharov added that 2022, under the influence of sanctions from Western countries, introduced difficulties in the investment process, which led to adjustments in the implementation timeframes and project budgets. But the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex continues, Goncharov said.
“Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the region is accompanied by the implementation of 33 major investment projects with a total investment of 135 billion rubles. 19 projects are in the active stage of implementation. The list of "100 Governor's investment projects" includes 12 projects, in which a total of more than 74 billion rubles will be invested," Viktor Goncharov said.
According to Rostovstat, the volume of investments in fixed assets (excluding monopolies and the federal budget) in 2022 is 43.5 billion rubles, which is 102% by 2021.
Last year, six investment projects were completed for an investment of about 2 billion rubles. The largest of them are the modernization of the production facilities of Frito Lay Manufacturing LLC and Semikarakorsky Cheese-Making Plant LLC, the Ayutinsky Khleb logistics center (12,000 sq. m.).
In addition, the investment portfolio of the region was replenished with five new projects worth 5.5 billion rubles. The most significant of them are the construction of a new Ayutinsky Khleb plant for the production of bakery products with a capacity of up to 110 tons per day in the city of Shakhty (1.7 billion rubles), RZK Resource LLC - a complex for the production and processing of mutton in Morozovsky, Millerovsky, Belokalitvinsky districts (1.5 billion rubles), creation of an intensive hazelnut orchard with drip irrigation with an area of 300 hectares in the Kamensky district (1 billion rubles), IP Kryutchenko A.V., construction of a production and storage facility for MEAT processing in the Myasnikovsky district ( 1 billion rubles) VTD TD LLC.
