Growth in exports of meat products, root crops and vegetables in the first half of 2025

Animal product exports reached 763.2 thousand tons, with the largest volumes of fish and seafood supplies to China and South Korea. Meat and edible offal also showed growth: exports amounted to 440.4 thousand tons, up 30% from last year. The main sales market for meat wasCHINA , where more than 70 thousand tons were sent.

In addition, pork exports increased significantly, reaching 137.8 thousand tons, representing a 60% increase compared to the same period in 2024. An increase in supplies was also recorded in other countries, including Belarus and Vietnam .

Exports of plant and fruit and vegetable products also showed growth, amounting to 95.3 thousand tons. The supply of root crops and vegetables increased especially noticeably – from 14.6 thousand tons last year to 30.3 thousand tons this year.

Thus, the first half of 2025 was successful for the Russian agricultural industry, with an increase in both livestock and plant supplies abroad.
