
An increase in prices for MEAT and poultry over the past four weeks was noted by 39% of Russians, according to a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM).
Answers to the question of sociologists, "for which main products prices have increased significantly over the past month" were distributed as follows:
- 34% of fellow citizens named fish and seafood,
- every third (33%) - MILK and dairy products,
- fruits and vegetables - 30% of respondents ,
- bread and bakery products and eggs - 27% of respondents each,
- almost every fourth (24%) speaks of a rise in the price of SUGAR,
- vegetable oil - 22% of respondents,
- cereals with pasta - every fifth (21%).
- 15% of Russians felt the rise in prices for alcoholic beverages over the past month.
The survey was conducted on March 10-12, 2023 among 1,500 respondents aged 18 and over in 104 settlements of the Russian Federation, in 53 regions.
