Economists attribute this situation to the presence of large poultry and pork factories in the region, which allows the Penza Region to occupy a leading position in MEAT production and fully satisfy local demand. The Penza branch of the Central Bank noted that the regulator will continue to implement monetary policy, targeting annual inflation at 4%. The Penza Region ranks second in the Volga Federal District for livestock and poultry production.
