Rosstat analyzed changes in prices for agricultural products

In August, butter rose in price by 0.72%. The cost of milk and dairy products increased by 0.44%, the press service of Rosstat reported. In general, in August, compared to July 2021, the consumer price index amounted to 100.17%, compared to December 2020 - 104.69%.

In August, a significant impact on the dynamics of prices had a reduction in the cost of fruits and vegetables. Thus, beets fell in price by 42.9%, carrots - by 34.8%, potatoes - by 17.0%, grapes - by 15.8%, tomatoes - by 15.6%, cucumbers - by 13.9%. At the same time, prices for lemons increased by 24.1%, oranges - by 5.7%, garlic - by 3.7%, dried fruits - by 1.7%.

Prices for beets in 6 subjects of the Russian Federation decreased by 0.1-19.9%, in 9 subjects - by 20.0-29.9%, in 62 subjects - by 30.0-57.5%. In the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, prices have not changed. In 7 constituent entities, beetroot prices increased by 0.1-21.1%.

Prices for carrots in 10 subjects of the Russian Federation decreased by 0.1-19.9%, in 11 subjects - by 20.0-29.9%, in 60 subjects - by 30.0-49.9%. In 4 constituent entities, prices for carrots increased by 0.1-5.5%.

Prices for potatoes in 40 subjects of the Russian Federation decreased by 0.1-19.9%, in 39 subjects - by 20.0-33.5%. In 6 constituent entities, prices for potatoes increased by 0.1-21.1%.

On average, chicken eggs in Russia fell in price by 3.4%, while in 43 constituent entities of the Russian Federation - by 0.1-3.9%, in 33 constituent entities - by 4.0-12.0%. In 2 subjects, prices have not changed. In 7 constituent entities, prices for eggs increased by 0.1-1.6%.

Among other food products, prices fell: millet - by 1.2%, frozen whole fish - by 0.9%, natural coffee beans and ground - by 0.8%, chocolate - by 0.7%, condensed milk and cognac - by 0.2%.

Prices for granulated sugar on average in Russia increased by 0.5%, including in 23 constituent entities of the Russian Federation - by 0.1-0.9%, in 10 constituent entities - by 1.0-1.9%, in 8 subjects - by 2.0-6.4%. Prices have not changed in 14 regions. In 30 constituent entities, prices for granulated sugar decreased by 0.1-2.1%.

The increase in prices for sunflower oil on average in Russia amounted to 0.2%, including 0.1-0.9% in 34 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and 1.0-3.8% in 16 constituent entities. In 10 subjects, prices have not changed. In 25 constituent entities, prices for sunflower oil decreased by 0.1-2.5%.

Among meat products, prices increased: for pork - by 2.5%, beef liver - by 2.1%, beef - by 1.6%, minced meat - by 1.3%, canned meat - by 1.1%, culinary poultry products - by 0.9%, lamb, sausages, sausages, dumplings, manti, ravioli - by 0.8%.

Ministry of Economic Development: it is impossible to completely neutralize the pressure of world markets on prices in Russia 

Among other food products, prices increased: biscuits - by 1.5%, live and chilled fish, salmon caviar, canned vegetables for baby food, Hercules oatmeal - by 1.3%, canned fruits and berries for baby food, water mineral, muffins and rolls - by 1.2%, chilled and frozen cut salmon fish, herring fillets, national cheeses and cheese, processed cheeses, mayonnaise, fruit juices, gingerbread, salt - by 0.9-1.1%.
