Rosstat notes a slight decrease in the volume of compound feed production

March has been the most productive month for animal feed producers since the beginning of the year. Following a decline in production in the previous two months, March saw a 7.2% increase. This growth enabled the industry to achieve positive momentum for the first quarter of this year.

In April, year-on-year growth continued, reaching 4.4% compared to feed production volumes in April last year. Overall, in the first four months of this year, Russian producers increased feed production by 4.6% compared to the same period in 2023.
