“There was a decrease in prices for pasta (by 5.2%), sausages and Meat and poultry products (by 2.6%), granulated Sugar (by 1.5%), sunflower oil (by 1.3% ), chicken eggs (by 1.1%). The decrease in cheese prices was less than 1%. The increase in prices for alcoholic beverages amounted to 2.8%,” the study says.

On the contrary, prices for vegetables (by 11.3%), confectionery (4.0%) and bread and pastries (3.1%) increased. And dairy products increased in price by 2.4%. “The increase in prices for fish and seafood, cereals and legumes, butter, meat and poultry was less than 1%,” analysts say.
