Russia expands list of checkpoints for import of animal products

The new list includes the Amurzet checkpoint, located on the Russian-Chinese border. This event symbolizes the development of international cooperation and the improvement of logistics in animal husbandry. The Amurzet checkpoint will become a key route for the transportation of goods and will ensure high-quality veterinary and phytosanitary control.

The existing checkpoints include automobiles, railway crossings, international airports and sea ports, which play an important role in maintaining the safety and quality of imported products. Veterinary control carried out by Rosselkhoznadzor guarantees protection of the domestic market from animal infections and diseases, and new checkpoints expand the possibilities for thorough inspection and control of products.

Expanding the list of checkpoints will have a positive impact on the livestock market in Russia, improve access to quality goods and create conditions for the competitiveness of local producers in the international arena.
