Russia to Reach Meat Production Record in 2024

The growth rate is expected to be around 2% for poultry, 4% for pork, 2-3% for turkey and 5-6% for beef. Sergey Yushin, HEAD of the National MEAT Association, noted that domestic meat farming is demonstrating stable growth and strengthening the country's position in the world market, expecting an increase in volumes. In 2024, per capita meat consumption will be 83 kg, which is higher than in the previous year. At the same time, meat prices remain lower , which contributes to the availability of products for consumers.
