Researchers at the South Ural Agricultural University have developed a unique technology that allows processing waste from poultry farms into fertilizers and fuel.
According to the authors of the project, the issue of processing poultry waste is relevant to this day. They noted that residents of villages that are adjacent to poultry farms often complain about an unpleasant smell, as well as soil and water pollution.
Experts noted that the manure contains 70% moisture, which the experts proposed to remove by mechanical dehydration and high-temperature drying, obtaining fertilizer. However, scientists stressed that this process releases combustible gas, which is not inferior to natural gas, reports Yuzhnouralskaya Panorama.
Experts reported that the development of innovative technology is already being completed. According to them, a line for high-temperature drying of manure is being assembled at one of the poultry farms in the region.
Chelyabinsk biologists have previously developed a device for printing human organs. A special 3D printer is capable of building models from biological materials.
