Rosselkhoznadzor imposes restrictions on import of Brazilian meat due to bird flu outbreak

These actions were prompted by an incident that occurred in one of the Brazilian states, where cases of the disease were registered in live poultry, as well as in eggs and processed products in mid-May. More than 20 countries have also begun to introduce partial or complete restrictions on Brazilian products. Last year, the share of Brazilian MEAT on the Russian market was about 15%.
