Rosselkhoznadzor is strengthening quality control over meat products from ten Russian producers.

Among the violations identified was the detection of listeria in cooked sausage from Dubki Combine LLC, where other compositional violations were also detected. Similar problems were discovered at Saratovsky MPC Resurs LLC, where unaccounted plant ingredients were found in their products.

In the event of repeated violations, regulatory authorities intend to suspend exports of products from these companies. Rosselkhoznadzor has already notified Rospotrebnadzor of the situation with unsafe and substandard products to ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
