Rosselkhoznadzor has strengthened laboratory monitoring of sausage products from three Russian manufacturers.

In the Krasnodar Krai, experts discovered pig DNA in cooked poultry sausage called "Molochnaya Muslimskaya," produced by JSC Sochi MEAT Processing Plant. Samples were taken from the Mayak store in North Ossetia-Alania. The manufacturer failed to indicate the use of unspecified raw materials on the packaging, increasing the risk of using low-quality or expired materials.

A similar violation was discovered in Moscow, where a sample of "Musulmanskaya" sausage, also sampled at a chain store, was found to contain porcine DNA, undeclared on the label. In the Saratov region, at the Svetofor discounter, an undeclared plant component, carrageenan, was found in "Doctorskaya" cooked sausage, which is prohibited by technical regulations.

Reports of low-quality and unsafe products were sent to Rospotrebnadzor for further investigation.
