Rosselkhoznadzor inspected the import of 15,500 breeding chickens into Krasnoyarsk Krai.

The chicks are intended for breeding at a local poultry farm. Following a clinical examination, the birds were found to be healthy. The breeders from the parent flock where the chicks originated from underwent the necessary diagnostic tests for avian influenza and were vaccinated against Marek's disease and infectious bronchitis.

No violations of the law were found during the documentary and physical inspection. The imported birds were quarantined under the supervision of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Veterinary Service.
