During 2023, the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus reported to the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR about cases of non-compliances in livestock products supplied from RUSSIA, for which response measures were promptly taken.
In total, from the beginning of the year to June 15, the Rosselkhoznadzor received notifications regarding 26 Russian companies, of which 7 are engaged in the production of poultry MEAT, by-products and egg products, 6 are pork, 6 are fish and fishmeal, 1 is soybean meal, 3 are cheese and 3 - finished meat products.
Listeria (5 cases), salmonella (3 cases), E. coli bacteria (2 cases), residues of antibiotics (3 cases), coccidiostatics (2 cases) and antimicrobials (1 case) were detected in meat products by the Belarusian side .
Non-viable parasites (4), discrepancy between the peroxide value (1) and the mass fraction of protein (1) were found in fish products. The cheese revealed a residual amount of an anti-inflammatory drug (2) and a discrepancy in the mass fraction of fat (1).
In the first half of June, violations during deliveries to Belarus were detected in the products of the following companies:
- OOO Zhukovskoe Moloko (remains of the anti-inflammatory drug meloxicam in cheese);
- OOO "Hoarfrost" (remains of antibacterial drugs enrofloxacin/sulfamethazine in sausages);
- LLC "Best Panoramic" (inconsistency in the mass fraction of fat in cheese);
- LLC PZP "Elika" (residues of the antibiotic oxytetracycline in finished meat products);
- OOO "Servolux Posad" (residues of the antibiotic doxycycline in meat dumplings).
Based on all the facts presented, Rosselkhoznadzor promptly takes corrective response measures. Goods of manufacturers that have committed violations are placed under enhanced laboratory control.
