The veterinary accompanying documents were filled out with violations; there was no import permit from the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, laboratory test results for avian influenza and psittacosis, as well as information about vaccination against Newcastle disease.
Based on the identified violations, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Office made a decision to return the animals to the country of departure.
We remind you that the importer, when importing products subject to veterinary supervision into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, is obliged to comply with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, approved by the Decision of the Customs Union Commission “On the application of veterinary and sanitary measures in the Eurasian Economic Union”, and be guided by current information on restrictions on the import of regulated products, including live poultry, into the territory of the Russian Federation, introduced by Rosselkhoznadzor due to the unfavorable epizootic situation in the territory of third countries.
