Rosselkhoznadzor prevented 11 attempts to illegally import animal products from China to the Amur Region

The products , including semi-finished MEAT and fish products, with a total weight of over 130 kg were confiscated due to the lack of necessary veterinary documents confirming compliance with the Unified Veterinary and Sanitary Requirements of the Customs Union. In connection with the incident, the owners of the products were brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 10.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which entailed fines. We remind you that the import of products of animal origin in factory packaging is permitted only with certificates of well-being of the importing country; in other cases, the presence of veterinary accompanying documents is mandatory. In this case, their absence became the basis for the disposal of the detained cargo and the application of penalties.
