In the semi-hard smoked cheese of OJSC Turov Dairy Plant, 26.3% of MILK fat was replaced by beef; in soft cream cheese, 29.1% of milk is adulterated with beef fat. In the semi-hard cheese "Works for the production of cheeses of OJSC "Babushkina Krynka" 30% of milk fat is replaced by beef.
At the same time, the products were accompanied by declarations of conformity and veterinary accompanying documents issued by the competent authority of Belarus.
Due to the fact that the use of animal fats in the production of cheese is unacceptable, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR appealed to the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of Belarus with a request to suspend certification of the products of these enterprises to Russian recipients from April 12, 2023 and conduct an exhaustive investigation to establish the causes of the incident.
