Roman Starovoit discussed the prospects for new investment projects with the management of ABH Miratorg

Kursk Region Governor Roman Starovoit and Miratorg Agro-Industrial Holding President Viktor Linnik visited the company's new automated logistics facility for 20,000 pallets. Investments in this project amounted to 1.5 billion rubles.

The warehouse has modern equipment installed, which allowed not only to automate all processes as much as possible, but also to ensure high energy efficiency of the project. Human participation in logistics operations is minimized here, 30 employees are involved in process management. To increase the efficiency of the warehouse, the system automatically arranges stocks according to the ABC principle, so that the maximum turnover goods are closer to the shipping zone. The products, which arrive around the clock from the agricultural holding's plants in Kursk and Belgorod, are stored in boxes at -21°C until transported to customers. The minimum delivery distance from the plant to the warehouse optimizes the cost and ensures the stability of temperature regimes for long shelf life of products.

“We pay great attention to the deep processing of raw materials that are grown in our region. Partnership relations with Miratorg make it possible to implement large projects precisely for these purposes. This site employs 3,000 people, which is almost half of the company's employees in the region. The development of the enterprise not only provides new jobs, but also tax deductions,” said Roman Starovoit.

During its work in the Kursk region, the company invested almost 100 billion rubles in regional projects, and in 2021 paid more than 1.5 billion rubles in taxes to the local budget, which makes Miratorg one of the main taxpayers in the region.

Europe's largest robotic slaughterhouse has already been launched in the Oktyabrsky district. Last year, the company opened a new feed mill, which produced 24 thousand tons of products at the end of the year. The plans are to increase the capacity to 800 thousand tons per year.

Further cooperation between the region and ABH Miratorg was discussed at a meeting between the governor and the company's management.

This year, it is planned to complete the construction of enterprises for the production of gelatin and processing of by-products of animal origin (pork mucosa), their capacity is 6,000 tons and 40,000 tons per year, respectively.

The demand for gelatin and heparin is high both in the domestic market of RUSSIA and among foreign partners who use products for the production of end products in the dairy and confectionery industries, as well as pharmaceuticals.

Both plants are unique and will be the first in Russia in terms of technology and equipment. Investments in these projects exceeded 4.5 billion rubles.

“I want to thank the governor and the administration of the Kursk region for supporting the company's projects. Last year was not easy, however, thanks to the joint work and support from the state, all undertakings are successfully implemented. This year we are launching two projects for the production of gelatin and heparin, which have no analogues in Russia. In addition, we are going to launch a selection and seed-growing center for the production of seeds.

In the spring, we will begin implementation, the cost of the project is about 1 billion rubles. We also plan to discuss with the regional authorities the possibility of producing amino acids, which are currently almost all imported. All conditions are created by the state, we need to work,” said Viktor Linnik.
