Robotic poultry farm "Volzhanin" will receive its own energy center

About 600 million rubles were invested in the modernization of the enterprise, another 200 million are planned to be invested by the end of this year

The output is 1.5 billion eggs per year, and the quality is always at the highest level - the Volzhanin poultry farm continues to delight consumers with its products.

Today, the enterprise, which is the leader in the production of eggs in Russia, is implementing an investment program, within the framework of which about 600 million rubles have already been invested in expansion and modernization this year. It is planned to invest another 200 million rubles by the end of the year.

The main thing at the current stage of the program is the growth of gross egg production and reaching a completely new level of manufacturability of the enterprise.

 - Continued modernization of the poultry complex will allow OJSC Volzhanin to increase the gross egg production by 20% in 2024, - said the general director of the enterprise, Lyudmila Kosteva, and added that a new level of manufacturability of the enterprise is provided through the introduction of robotic complexes in such areas as the formation of boxes , packing eggs in boxes and sealing the boxes.

The speed of production with the help of robots in these areas of production is 43% higher than when using human resources. The complexes will allow to carry out production processes more quickly, accurately and efficiently, which means that the quality of the finished product will also reach a new level.

Also, in order to strengthen the positions of Volzhanin OJSC in the market, a project was launched to rebrand the company's products. As a result, Volzhanin's brand will become more coherent and exactly in line with the current state of the business, future plans, concept and target audience.

Another important direction of the current modernization of the enterprise is the creation of its own generation of electrical and thermal energy. The energy center of the company will optimize the company's energy costs. The Volzhanin poultry farm became the first agricultural enterprise in the region to switch to the introduction of its own generation, thus working together with the department of the agro-industrial complex and the consumer market of the region, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Energy on the problem of reducing electricity tariffs for farmers.

 - The work of our agricultural enterprises in the field of optimizing energy costs will be taken into account in the framework of the annual regional competition "Agrotechnologies of the Future-2021", where, in addition to the Volzhanin company, other agricultural enterprises will be able to declare themselves, - said Valery Kholodov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Yaroslavl Region, and noted, that in December last year in the regional competition "Agrotechnologies of the Future" OJSC "Volzhanin" was recognized as the best enterprise in the nomination "Poultry".

The victory became possible thanks to the launch of the 5th egg sorting complex at the enterprise, which makes it possible to sort marketable eggs with high accuracy, apply the necessary marking on it and pack it according to the nomenclature. Such equipment makes it possible to produce more than 200 types of marketable eggs both under the brands of almost all federal chains and under its own brand. At the same time, manual labor was completely eliminated.

In 2020, OJSC Volzhanin produced 1,489 million eggs (which is 69.9% of the total volume of chicken eggs produced in the region), 3.6 thousand tons of poultry meat, as well as 4.3 thousand tons of egg processing products.

In 2020, the products of OAO Volzhanin were awarded gold medals at the exhibition All-Russian Brand (III Millennium). Quality Mark of the 21st Century. And in April 2020, the eggs produced by OJSC Volzhanin became the absolute winners of the Natural Selection program.

In 2020, poultry farms produced 2369 million pieces in the region. eggs. This is almost 30% more than in 2016. This indicator was achieved thanks to the implementation of investment projects, including by the Volzhanin and Yaroslavsky Broiler enterprises for the construction and modernization of production facilities.

For 7 months of 2021, the poultry farms of the region produced 1.37 billion pieces. eggs. According to the technological plan, the volume of chicken egg production in 2021 is expected to be no lower than the level of 2020 (2.4 billion eggs).

Due to our own production, the needs of the population of the region are fully met not only in eggs, but also in poultry meat. The region's poultry farms contain over 13.5 million poultry (+19% compared to 2016). Self-sufficiency in poultry meat - 178%.
