“Moscow industrialists create innovative products and produce high-tech devices to facilitate labor-intensive human labor. For example, the capital company “VM Catalog” has developed a robot for livestock farming,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, HEAD of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He clarified that the device can control the nutrition of cattle on farms. Testing of the robot began in mid-2022 and ended in 2023.
The manufacturer will produce 100 such devices annually. The main goal of the robot is to automate the feeding process. The development moves along the stalls and replenishes the food supply. Using the application, workers can track the dynamics of food consumption, create a diet and analyze the nutritional value of feed, as well as monitor the charge of the device. According to the general DIRECTOR of the company, Evgeny Nikitin, according to the plan, contracts with potential buyers will be signed in the first quarter of 2024. Mass production will then begin. Scientific support in the creation of an automated device is provided by the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM. Previously, such projects were implemented only abroad.
