Sharp Increase in Beef Tongue Supplies from Brazil to Russia in 2023-2024

The volume of supplies from Brazil in 2023 reached 2.5 thousand tons, which is 96.7% higher than the level of 2022. From January to November 2024 , 3.06 thousand tons were delivered, which is 35% more than for the same period in 2023.

In terms of prices, in 2023, the average price of beef tongue was usd 3,842 per ton. In 2024, this figure increased to USD 4,437 per ton, showing an increase of 14.3%. In rubles, the average price of Brazilian beef tongue also increased, amounting to RUB 408,017 per ton, which is 24.1% higher than last year. In November 2024, the price reached USD 4,675 per ton, which is 37.5% more than a year ago.
