Poultry complex "Batyr-Broiler" is being restored after a large-scale fire

According to Ashtar Batyrov, General DIRECTOR of Batyr-Broiler, the burnt-down incubator was commissioned in 2013 and continued to develop until 2021. This enterprise is of crucial importance for the region’s agriculture, producing up to 30 million chicks per year and providing the market with MEAT products in the amount of more than 4.1 thousand tons per month.

Preliminary investigation results suggest that faulty electrical wiring was the cause of the fire. Despite all standards being met, the investigation is ongoing, and the damage from the incident is estimated at hundreds of millions of rubles due to the destruction of expensive equipment, including the latest machines.

During his visit, Abdulmuslimov stressed how important Batyr-Broiler is for poultry farming in Dagestan. The republic's government has already begun developing support measures to restore the enterprise, including financial assistance and potential tax breaks. Ways to attract investment to modernize equipment and improve safety are also being discussed.

The management of Batyr-Broiler is known for its active charitable work, providing assistance to those in need and supporting the families of participants in special military operations.

Despite the serious damage, the company's team is optimistic and confident that with the help of state support they will be able to restore their production capacity and continue their important work to ensure food security in the republic. The fire was not only a test, but also an opportunity to renew and further develop the poultry complex.
