Production of meat and meat products in Moscow increased by 5.5 times

“In the first two months of 2024 alone , food production in Moscow increased by 136%, in particular, MEAT and meat products - by 5.5 times, bakery and confectionery products - by 17.1%. Factories in the capital are strengthening their positions in the markets “they are developing new high-tech products, using high-tech technologies in their work,” said Moscow Government Minister, HEAD of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky. 

it is noted that in 2023, the capital company Elitgroup Invest launched the production of three types of pork kebabs from ham, shoulder and neck. This year, for the barbecue season, the company has expanded its range of chicken skewers from thigh, wing, drumstick, and fillet. 

“For the May holidays, we shipped about 100 tons of chicken and about 1 thousand tons of pork kebabs. Their main advantage is high factory quality and well-chosen marinades with the addition of aromatic spices and dried herbs. The meat is suitable for grilling, barbecuing, frying and baking in the oven,” said the head of the enterprise, Armais Akopov.
