Over the past seven years, dependence on imported raw materials has dropped from 70 percent to 13 percent, according to government data. In total, 29 MEAT processing enterprises operate in the region. Last year, they produced 5.2 thousand tons of sausages, which is 650 tons more than in 2021. Semi-finished products were produced by eight percent more - 7.2 thousand tons. There are 650 items in the menu, about 15 new ones are added every year.

- Meat processing is actively developing in the region. Now the work on the creation of a new sausage shop in the Khabarovsk region with a capacity of up to 100 tons per year is coming to an end. This is an important part of the region's food security and providing citizens with local products, said Svetlana Abdalova, HEAD of the food and processing industry department.

Last year, Mastergrad opened a sausage production line in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. And in 2021, the local manufacturer Myasoopttorg launched a new meat processing workshop, and in 2022, it bought new equipment for fine minced meat grinding and shell filling. Thanks to this, the processing capacity increased by 40 percent - from 2.5 to 3.5 thousand tons per year. The company also received a preferential loan for 58 million rubles. With this money, she bought raw materials.
