Producer and supplier of rotten beef to schools brought to justice

The Khoroshevsky District COURT of Moscow, having considered the application of the Severomorsky Interregional Department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR , decided to bring to administrative responsibility the manufacturer and supplier of semi-finished products from rotten beef to the schools of Petrozavodsk.
A complaint from the school about the receipt of beef with an unpleasant chemical odor from the school was received by Rosselkhoznadzor in March. Upon delivery, an administrative investigation was initiated and documents were requested from the Moscow company confirming the implementation of the HACCP food safety system at the enterprise. The MEAT producer failed to provide the necessary documents and was fined 50,000 rubles.
The sale of a batch of low-quality semi-finished products weighing more than four tons to the schools of Petrozavodsk under contracts with educational institutions was carried out by a local intermediary. He was also held liable for violating the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of meat and meat products" (TR CU 034/2013). The amount of the fine will be 100 thousand rubles.
