Forecast for growth in meat production and exports in Russia in 2025

Exports of meat and by-products (excluding finished and semi-finished products) could exceed 930,000 tons, compared to 799,000 tons last year. Notably, exports of poultry and by-products could increase by 5-10% to over 430,000 tons, with 37-40% going to China . Pork supplies are also showing significant growth, reaching a 26% increase from January to October 2025 , including to China and Belarus . Total meat exports in 2025 will exceed imports by more than 40%.
