The growth of the indicator was mainly influenced by the expansion of production in Bashkiria and the Chelyabinsk region, where new assets were acquired at the end of 2022, as well as the transfer of one site to growing chickens, which specialized in turkey production in 2022. The average selling price increased by 12.4% to 164.21 rubles per kg from 146.16 rubles in 2022.

Sales of turkey Meat decreased to 48.64 thousand tons from 75.04 thousand tons in 2022. The average selling price increased by 11.8%, to 226.71 rubles per kg. The 35.2% decrease in sales volumes was due to a change in the production process: one of the turkey growing sites was transferred to chicken production, the report explains.

Pork production in 2023 amounted to 282.23 thousand tons (in live weight) against 238.69 thousand tons in 2022. Sales of pork to external buyers in 2023 increased by 27%, to 163.95 thousand tons from 129.14 thousand tons a year earlier. These indicators include the results of the expansion of the group's production in the Orenburg region. The average selling price of live pigs increased to 118.86 rubles per kg from 110.95 rubles, half carcasses - to 166.77 rubles from 155.63 rubles, cuts - to 260.94 rubles from 244.66 rubles per kg.

Sales of meat processing products in 2023 increased by 7.6%, to 139.41 thousand tons from 129.59 thousand tons a year earlier. The average selling price increased by 4.5%, to 295.47 rubles per kg from 282.67 rubles, respectively.

Sales of crop products increased by 31%, to 682.36 thousand tons from 519.24 thousand tons in 2022. Last year, 826.5 thousand tons of various agricultural crops were harvested from 197.64 thousand hectares.

Cherkizovo is one of the largest Russian producers of pork, poultry, turkey and meat processing products. The group includes 16 poultry complexes, 20 pig farms, 14 meat processing enterprises, as well as 12 feed mills and 340 thousand hectares of agricultural land.

Revenue in 2023 according to IFRS increased by 23%, to 226.7 billion rubles from 184.3 billion rubles in 2022, adjusted EBITDA - to 49.96 billion rubles from 30.165 billion rubles, net profit - more than doubled, to 33 billion rubles from 14.9 billion rubles.
