Since the opening of the pig complex, which breeds pigs and processes MEAT products, local residents have begun to complain about a sharp unpleasant smell emanating from the enterprise. During the inspection, the prosecutor's office found that the fattening and reproductive workshops lack the necessary gas cleaning units, which is a gross violation of environmental standards.

At the end of summer 2023The pig farm acquired a facility for burning animal remains and by-products, but it was also not equipped with filters, which led to an increase in harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Environmental studies have shown that within a kilometer of the complex's sanitary protection, the level of ammonia exceeds the permissible standards by two times, the level of suspended particles by 1.12 times, and benzene by 1.35 times.

In response to these violations, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit demanding that the environmental deficiencies be corrected and opened a criminal case on air pollution. The pig farm has now been fined 10,000 rubles. However, this amount appears insignificant compared to the scale of the environmental damage caused. The situation serves as a reminder of the importance of observing environmental standards to protect public HEALTH and the environment.
