
The Priuzolie company plans to build a dairy complex for 3,000 heads of cattle with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation. The project also provides for the creation of a cluster for growing animal feed. The volume of production will be about 30 thousand tons of raw MILK per year. The investor plans to invest 3.2 billion rubles in the project. Its implementation is planned for the period from 2024 to 2028.
According to the general DIRECTOR of Priuzolie Alexei Ivanov, whose words are given in the message, the launch of the complex will take place in stages. The first stage of the project involves the creation of a complex for 1.8 thousand cows, the second - for 1.2 thousand cows, as well as the construction of a feed center, designed primarily to fully meet the needs of its own production, the third stage provides for the rearing of young animals. The complex will be located on the territory of the Gorodetsky municipal district.
The project is aimed at milk production and breeding of Holstein, Jersey and Swiss breeds of cows. it is planned to be implemented using modern technologies existing in these areas. Nizhny Novgorod Regionis actively working to ensure food security and welcomes investors who are ready to invest in this industry, said Andrei Sanosyan, deputy governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, quoted by the government press service. “Now we can provide ourselves with milk and dairy products by 82% and we plan to increase the figure,” Sanosyan said.
According to Rosstat, at the end of last year, the number of cattle in the Nizhny Novgorod region amounted to 241.4 thousand animals, having decreased by 0.8% compared to 2021. Including the herd of cows decreased by 2.5% to 101.7 thousand heads. Nevertheless, the gross milk yield in the region increased by 2.9% and amounted to 667.5 thousand tons. Milk yield per cow amounted to 6710 kg - more than the average for the Volga Federal District (5790 kg) and for RUSSIA as a whole (5194 kg). According to the results of January-June of this year, milk production in the region increased by 4.7% to 353.3 thousand tons. At the same time, the herd of cows continued to decline and in June amounted to 101.2 thousand heads - 1.1% less than a year earlier.
JSC "Priuzole" was registered in March 2019 in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the authorized capital is almost 10.8 million rubles. The main activity is the cultivation of dairycattle , raw milk production.
