Priority areas of agricultural insurance discussed at first meeting of working group in Federation Council

The meeting participants, including representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Finance, as well as the agricultural insurance community, heard proposals from agricultural associations and enterprises. Based on the results of the discussion, an action plan will be developed to change the necessary regulatory and legal acts.
The President of the National Union of Agricultural Insurers, Kornei Bizhdov, noted that the current state of insurance in these sectors requires additional efforts, since its level of penetration is at an early stage. The meeting also discussed ways to adapt insurance programs to the specific needs of these industries.
