Exports from Primorye to CHINA of chilled pork and poultry, as well as soybeans and corn are planned to be increased, the government of the region reports. The decision was made during the working visit of the delegation of the region to China, which took place from 1 to 3 March.

As noted by the Minister of Agriculture of Primorye Andrey Bronts, today the production volumes of the listed products are increasing in the region, which means that new partners and logistics schemes are needed for its implementation.

“There is an opportunity to EXPORT chilled MEAT, we are working with Chinese partners to supply pasteurized MILK through Turiy Rog along the “green street”. We are also considering the possibility of supplying China with roughage and seaside organic honey,” the HEAD of the department said.

One of the main goals of the visit of the Primorye delegation was to attract investments to the region. According to Bronts, serious funds should be invested in the reconstruction of the rice reclamation system.

“We turned to large Chinese corporations that are ready to create joint ventures and increase the volume of rice in the Primorsky Territory,” Andrey Bronts said.
