
The enterprises of the food and processing industry of the region are functioning normally. There are sufficient raw materials for processing and food production.
According to the Committee of the AIC of the Kursk region, daily we produce 116 tons of bread and bakery products, 620 tons of wheat flour, 83 tons of cereals, 25 tons of animal butter, 40 tons of pasta, 47 tons of cheese and cheese products, 1610 tons of pork, 545 tons poultry meat, 580 tons of semi-finished meat products, as well as 60 tons of sausages.
- Meat and milk processing enterprises work stably, providing in full the requests of retail chains. Their capacities make it possible to increase the production of dairy products by an average of 30 percent. Also, the region's cereal mills and the pasta factory are ready to increase production by 30 percent, - said Sergey Starodubtsev, Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region.
