Nine more Russian food industry enterprises received the right to export to Cuba

“The Ministry of Agriculture of the National Center for Animal HEALTH of the Republic of Cuba announced the certification of nine new Russian livestock enterprises to supply products to the Cuban market,” the statement says.

Based on the results of an inspection of organizations producing products of animal origin carried out from June 19 to 30, 2023, three pig-breeding companies, two enterprises for the production of dairy products, one organization for the production of finished MEAT products, one organization for the production of meat and ready-made meat products received access to the Cuban market. products, one for the production of poultry meat, one for the production of beef.

Also, the Cuban side extended the accreditation of previously certified companies for a period of two years under the guarantees of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR .

In total, 23 Russian enterprises have been certified for the Cuban market, the agency reported.

Thus, pork can be supplied by seven organizations, finished meat products by five, poultry meat by four, dairy products by four, beef by two, canned fish by one. Also, one company is approved for the supply of plant-based feed (one company has two certified activities).
